PHYSICAL NOTES

SIREN | "little is known of sirens ... as they are always prone to wanderlust."

MINOTAUR | "Like the ram about to charge, I run through the stone galleries until I fall dizzy to the floor. I crouch in the shadow of a pool or around a corner and pretend I am being followed. There are roofs from which I let myself fall until I am bloody."

Angel is part woman - part animal. All animal aspects are reminiscent of gazelles & antelope.
The animal parts that are permament are: eyes, horns, a tail, cloven hooves, and fur across her body.
Fur: The fur is white and black, mostly laying sleek against her skin, but thickest around her neck, along her spine, and legs.
Fur: Her spine has a tufted mane the runs from the nape of her neck, to her tail.
Eyes: There are no whites visible in her eyes, and they appear completely black. However, like animals, when the light catches them at the angle, her irises can be seen as a flash of bright gold.
Her hooves and nails are both a thick and black, and very hard to break, her nails grow into long claws when left unattended.
Angel has only one visible scar, and it's seen on the shaved left side of her head, and was where one of her cybernetics was ripped out by her horns, the skin there is healed clean, but very mangled. Otherwise her skin is relatively clear of any other kind of markings.

BEAST FORM

BEAST FORM: MINOTAUR

Once every twenty-four hours, Angel may turn at her will into her completed beast form. An unearthly ghost-like creature that is reminiscent of the skeletons of giants that litter Pandora's landscape. She can maintain it for only a few hours until ultimately losing it, or may turn in and out of it at will for short periods of time. Whilst she maintains her intelligence ( if more heavily influenced by her impulses and urges ), she is unable to speak in that form.

POWERS, ABILITIES & MENTAL INFORMATION

SUPER STRENGTH, SPEED & ENDURANCE Minotaur's are noted for their extreme strength and agility, and Angel is no exception. She far exceeds a humans strength and speed. The strongest is her kick, which can break solid concrete.

KEEN SENSES Angel can hear, smell, and taste, beyond human capacity, this includes hearing heartbeats, smelling pheromones, etc.

LABYRINTH KNOWLEDGE The more time Angel spends in a place, the greater she can intrinsically know the landscape around her like a perfect map is kept in her mind. Allowing her to navigate almost unseeing of her surroundings necessarily, at high speeds since the knowledge is almost instinctual.

MUSIC HYPNOSIS When she plays music for another, it can trance them into staying still, holding them in that state for as long as she can keep playing the music. Lulling them into a state of false calm and quiet, regardless of how they feel otherwise. How effective this is, depends on the person's mental will.

DARK VISION Angel can see in low-light and darkness with perfect clarity.

WEAKNESS TO LOUD NOISES High pitched screeching noises completely disorientate her, and if applied for too long, can send her into a complete rage, losing all control and drive her to attack even friends.

MENTAL LANDSCAPE Angel's mind is both deeply compartmentalised and a total mess and it is very, very loud. It is separated by her Minotaur, Human and Siren aspects that mingle with each other but are very meticulously different sensations. The short of it is, is Angel's strongest power used to be the sheer will of her mind - and it shows.

The sensations and thoughts of when she used to be a Siren are ethereal, full of stars and light, like a galaxy is living inside of her skin - it comes with a distinct sensation of having her veins burned from the inside out, of flying. Having millions of voices talking at once and weaving them like a painting. The sense that if you rip the air just right, reality will split apart because she beckoned it too, very often when she's working, she feels like this, and it's very organised.

The Human part of her is confused, scared, afraid, guilt-ridden, terrified of being pitied, but scared of herself, defined not by what she has done, but what she did not do. She thinks too much and gets distracted. She often just wants to cry, or laugh, or both. Everything is exciting, everything makes her sad. There is a real sense of grief, hurt that hasn't been resolved, and a desperation to finally live.

The Minotaur aspect is by far the one she works hardest to contain, it is heavy, connected to the earth, it's like being wrapped in a heavy fur blanket and it's all longing and rage. It demands, wants, takes, has fits of hunger, it's always twisting, wanting to roll into the earth and glory in its violence. She wants to run, to rip things apart with her bare hands. It is furious, all of the time, and it wants to take its due and refuse to say sorry for anything.

CONTENT WARNINGS & OPT OUT

Heya, RP is supposed to be fun, and I have no interest in making anyone uncomfortable. Borderlands is, whilst a very ridiculous canon, a very dark canon filled with hyperviolence - and Angel herself is a tragic figure of abuse. So that being said, if you don't want to interact with any part of that? Please let me know at any time. For the canon unfamiliar, some of the common themes with her and the series as a whole include: physical & psychology abuse, sexual assault, incest, torture both physical and mental, abusive parents, abusive families, infanticide, matricide, patricide, heavy drug abuse, forced drug abuse, cannibalism, animal abuse, animal killing, people being eaten alive by animals, self mutilation, mutilation of others, and very dark humour about all of these things.

Angel herself has suffered from psychology and physical abuse from her father, drug use, forced drug use, manipulation and has committed assisted suicide, and often has thoughts of suicidal ideation. As of her time in Ryslig, she has also committed cannibalism, and frequently still wants to eat people due to her changes.

🐝 Soaps and body washes — Typically alternates between light vanilla, honeysuckle, or berry scents. It depends on what she's feeling that week in the shower.
🐝 Other — Given her exposure to a magical and cosmic stone in her universe, those with advanced senses can probably pick up some ... thing from that. Maybe a light ozone smell in her blood?
